Hi there! My name is Antonia. I'm a traveler, potter, baker, and lover of culture, especially as it pertains to food.

I studied intercultural communication, worked 6 years in the nonprofit field, and then took the leap to study holistic health coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Which brings us here, now. Welcome!

For as long as I can remember, health and wellness have been a part of my life. At a young age, I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and insulin resistant. I had to watch my carbohydrate and sugar intake, as well as give myself shots every day - it was not a fun process. Thankfully, with lifestyle changes, and a lot of support from my mom, I am no longer pre-diabetic.

Years later, in my early 20s, I started having gastro-intestinal issues and discovered I was experiencing the symptoms of leaky gut and SIBO, or Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth. Again, lifestyle changes were required, but this time I didn’t have someone by my side helping me navigate this journey. I did a lot of research and self-study, and I've had to go through much trial and error over the past decade to find what my body needs. This is still a journey that I’m on to this day.

I know what it’s like to have a companion, and how much harder it is to be on a wellness journey alone. In 2020, I decided to attend the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN). I became a health coach because I hope to come alongside you as you make your health a priority; to be an encourager, a guide, and the resource I never had as an adult when trying to make lifestyle changes.
